Special Olympics 2010 Games appeal for Limerick volunteers

Irish Special Olympics organisers have taken to the web in a bid to generate volunteers needed for the Special Olympics Ireland Games which take place in Limerick next year.

The games take place from June 9th -13th 2010 and officials say they need 3,500 volunteers to “plan, organise and run” the games in Limerick.

Around 1,900 Special Olympics athletes from around Ireland will travel to the city to take part in the events.

A video appeal for volunteers has been launched on YouTube.
