A youth has been arrested following a row in the city in which a gun was produced.
Gardai were called to the scene just off Mulgrave Street around 11pm Sunday night. A young man, believed to be in his early teens was arrested and a firearm was recovered shortly after.
The youth is being detained at Henry Street Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
