Gardai investigating the murder of Jeffrey Hannon in Southill have made three further arrests.
19 year old Jeffrey Hannon who was from O’Malley Park died after sustaining serious head injuries in an attack just yards from his home. He was last seen alive on the night of the 21st of November 2007 as he attended a bonfire. His body was found dumped the following morning.
Investigators say two men aged 21 and 22 along with a 21 year old woman were detained as part of the investigation Tuesday morning.
A total of 19 people have now been arrested as part of the murder investigation however nobody has ever been charged.
Those arrested Tuesday are being detained under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act at Henry Street and Roxboro Garda Stations.
