Search operations are continuing in Limerick City for a Moyross teenager who was last seen in the city center last weekend.
17 year old Hazel Shannon was last seen around 2.40am Saturday morning near Sarsfield Bridge and is described as being five foot five. Family members say she was wearing a purple tracksuit along with pink and white runners at the time of her disappearance.
Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, Bunratty Search and Rescue backed up by divers and the Civil defence have been searching the river Shannon since the weekend. The Shannon based Coast Guard Helicopter is also assisting in the search.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have have any knowledge of her whereabouts to contact them.

The body of a teenager was pulled from the river near Shannon Bridge Wednesday morning and has been identified as that of Hazel Shannon.
